21st Century Community Learning Center



The 21st CCLC grant is formulated to provide additional, outside the school, academic and enrichment opportunities for students and their families who are enrolled in low-performing schools. All activities are to be designed to assist the student meet both local and state academic standards in a variety of subjects, such as reading, math, art, music, technology, drug- and violence-prevention, recreation, counseling, and character education.

Bright Sky Learning, LLC, is looking for Faith-Based Organizations and Community Centers in various states to create partnerships for the U.S. Department of Education's 21st Century Community Learning Centers (CCLC) grants.

It is envisioned that Bright Sky would provide the reading and math enrichment programs and all required training and that the partner would provide the facility and other youth development activities, as acceptable for 21st CCLC grantees.

If your organization is in need of an exceptional reading/language arts component to complement existing activities, Bright Sky Learning, LLC licenses both the Smart Way Reading and Spelling hardcopy and Phonics interactive Education computer-based curriculum materials. Either licensing package comes with access and use of our online student tracking system, Bright Sky Monitoring, to ease reporting requirements.
